Privacy Policy
Rooted Online LLC d/b/a Pinbright ("Pinbright," "we," "us") · Effective October 27, 2026
Pinbright builds websites and handles Google Business Profile work for local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers this website (pinbrightco.com), emails you exchange with us, and the business contact details we use to reach out to businesses.
1. What we collect
When you visit this website: this site has no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising pixels. Our website host, Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), receives your IP address and basic browser details when you load a page, so it can deliver the site and block abuse. We don't use that information to identify you.
When you email us: we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write or attach.
Businesses we contact: before we email a business, we look at its public information: the business name, the email address and phone number it publishes on its own website, Google Business Profile or Facebook Page, its town and service area, and what its website and public Google listing show. We write down short notes about what we checked and when. We only use email addresses that the business itself publishes. We don't buy email lists, and we don't guess addresses.
Sample websites: if we make a private sample website for a business, it uses only details that business publishes itself on its own website, Google Business Profile or Facebook Page (such as its phone number, services and towns). Everything else is a placeholder. Sample sites show no reviews, and we don't copy the business's photos or logo. Sample sites are hidden from search engines, aren't linked anywhere public, and are deleted 30 to 60 days after we send them if the business doesn't sign up.
How we work: Pinbright uses AI tools to help with research, drafts and organizing the work. These tools may see the information described in this policy, and we use them only to do our work. Cody, the owner, is responsible for everything we deliver.
Clients: when a business becomes a client, we collect what we need to do the work and bill for it: the owner's name, business details, contact information, the photos and text they give us for their website, and the access they grant us to their Google Business Profile. We never ask for your email or Google password; where a service lets you give us access without sharing a password, we use that. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor; we don't see or store full card numbers.
2. How we use it
- To answer your emails and questions.
- To send a small number of one-to-one emails to businesses about our services, and to stop when asked.
- To build and run our clients' websites and Google profiles, and to bill for that work.
- To keep the business, tax and legal records we're required to keep.
- To protect our website and email from abuse.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own advertising.
3. Who we share it with
Only with companies that help us run the business, and only so they can do that work for us. They include:
- Google (Google Workspace, and Google Cloud APIs such as PageSpeed Insights and Places) handles our email and helps us check public facts about websites and business listings.
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website (Cloudflare Pages), manages our domain names and DNS, and hosts our clients' websites and website forms.
- Stripe, Inc. processes client payments once we take payments online.
- Local Falcon prepares map reports about our clients' Google listings (business details only).
- HighLevel/LeadConnector and its phone carrier partners, only for clients who use our texting service.
- Meta Platforms, Inc., only for clients who have us post to their Facebook Page.
- Anytime Mailbox receives our postal mail.
- AI assistant tools (currently Grok Bot) help us research public business information, draft emails, websites and reports, and organize our work.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of selling the business.
4. How long we keep it
- Sample websites: deleted 30 to 60 days after we send them if the business doesn't sign up.
- Businesses we looked up but never contacted: we delete our notes about them within 6 months.
- Businesses we contacted who didn't become clients: we delete our notes about them 12 months after our last email. If you asked us to stop emailing you, we keep your email address and business name on a do-not-contact list for as long as we send email, so we don't contact you again by mistake.
- Emails with us: kept as long as they're useful for the conversation, and for client matters as long as our business and tax records require.
- Clients: kept for as long as you're a client, and afterward for as long as our business, tax and legal records require.
5. Your choices
- Stop our emails: reply "no thanks" (or anything that asks us to stop) to any email from us, or write to [email protected]. We stop as soon as we see your request, and always within 10 business days, and we don't email you again.
- See, correct or delete your information: email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records the law requires (like invoices) and a do-not-contact entry if you asked us to stop emailing you.
- Do Not Track: this website doesn't track you across other websites, and we don't let advertising or analytics companies collect information about your activity here. Because there's no such tracking, a browser "Do Not Track" signal doesn't change anything on this site.
6. Security
We use reputable providers and limit who can see your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't email us passwords, bank details or Social Security numbers.
7. Children
This website and our services are for businesses. They aren't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we'll also note it on our home page for 30 days.
